The ultimate hero next door has been racing to the rescue for over 30 years. The people of Pontypandy know help is always close by thanks to brave and resourceful Fireman Sam and his fellow rescue workers.

Fireman Sam Hooray for Heroes! celebrates ALL the heroes - not just Fireman Sam and his super resourceful fire crew - but also those who do amazing air rescues, momentous mountain rescues and superb sea rescues, as well as the ever helpful police officer Malcolm Williams and caring, knowledgeable nurse Helen Flood, who help to keep everyone safe and well.

You'll meet the new police officer in town, Malcolm Williams, who is the brother of caring nurse Helen Flood, who is always ready and willing to help with anyone's medical needs!

With exciting full colour rescue images from the TV show showing the heroes in action and with questions for the reader to answer too, there's plenty to entertain and inspire budding young heroes!
